It's time to break from packing. I decided packing is not on my list of favorite things to do, but it definitely beats unpacking. A big thank you to my housemates for helping me make the critical decision of which pants to bring and whether I should take one pair of jeans or two....phew glad that's over!
I have been so blessed with encouragement and support from my family, my church family and friends! Thank you all for your prayers. I am very excited to go, but I can't believe it is here already. I will miss everyone at home, in the states, and you too Brian :) I would love to hear updates from home so feel free, I'll be able to check my e-mail.
The next time I write I will be in El Salvador!

Hola Chica!
ReplyDeleteI hope your flght went well and you are having a wonderful start to your adventure in El Salvador! I can't wait to hear about everything you've been doing and all the thisngs you've seen. You better be posting pics too!
I'm not going to lie, being done with school really hasn't sunk in yet for me. I have some really exciting news...I finally got a job!!!! What's even more exciting is that I'll be working at the Cleveland Clinic...in the the surgical ICU (I start work June 22)!!! So this means I'll still be close enough to help you study, or go on a much needed study break to Riverside as time allows :).
I can't wait to hear from you!
God Bless,
Kris
Hi Lauren,
ReplyDeleteI am praying daily and anticipating wonderful things for you. I could not read 5/15 entry...Hopefully, other entries will come through.
You are approaching the 1 week mark; look back and see what has been accomplished. I hope you can worship with your friend Sunday.
Blessings and Love,
Kiki
